That photo of your mom and dad...her smile, her happy eyes, their hands clasped tightly, his head tilted...I just felt the love and joy in my soul. What a lovely picture - the love and the light, the weather and the music...feels like I was there. Thank you for sharing this. Also, your writing about your mother and appreciating her fully is touching me...my mom is still alive yet far away and we don't talk nearly as much as we did before we moved to North Carolina, our lives are so busy. Absolutely lovely is all I can say about this post. I listened to you read it, and your tenderness towards your mom came through in such a touching way. I’d seen the photo before, but hearing you speak of it again, and talking of how your mum loved the sun, and how she showed you such love and light had me reaching for a tissue. I’m so happy you saw her again bathed in light and love and remembered her as she was. The verses you selected, and the music, and the words of reminding us our loved one are at rest truly touched me deeply. Sending deepest condolences again, and peace and joy. Hugs.
