I have a soft spot for St. Joseph, especially after I lost my own father. That statue really conveys his deep love for Jesus. XO to you.

Oh Jen, this is just so very beautiful. You have again woven together your stories in such a meaningful way as you celebrated all the events that are so connected in your heart. Truly, you have a gift of using synthesis to bring unity in all of your stories. Your photos also bring unity and connections that helps us even more deeply see the powerful way so many of life’s events also link the “coincidence of time and place” in your story and in our own.

P.S. I listened first and loved hearing your voice reading this. And, then when I read it, I saw even more in your writing that I missed when I listened. Thanks again for this lovely piece.

So beautiful Jen and I love the statue of St Joseph cradling baby Jesus. I haven't been to Quimper for so many years. And as for the letter - that's a story in itself. Thank you so much for sharing such precious photos of your dear dad and gorgeous ones of you and your beautiful first little baby. A gloriously heart warming post xx
